Igor Guryev, the director of commercial real estate department earlier, has been assigned the General Director of Compass Development.
Mr. Guryev obtained a vast experience working for Ukrainian and western production companies. He started his career in 2000 as Chief Accountant at JV Neokron, where he was later promoted to the position of Executive Director. In 2003-2006, before joining Compass Development, Igor was the director of Lux-X, producer of adhesives. From 2006 to 2010 Mr. Guryev occupied the position of director of commercial real estate department at Compass Development.
He is married, brings up a daughter.

Roman Chumak, who was leading Compass Development from November 2006, has been assigned the Director of Octava Capital since 12.04.2010.
Octava Capital was founded by Alexander Kardakov as an asset management company in April 2008. Apart of asset holder function Octava Capital is engaged in business development of Mr. Kardakov.

Compass Development representatives visited Warsaw and Moscow, the cities with the most advanced commercial property markets of Eastern Europe in order to study the experience of designing, construction and operation of modern business centers and hotels. The choice of cities was explained by the fact that Kyiv commercial real estate market has the features of both Russian and Polish markets in its development. The tours were organized by Colliers International, Ukrainian office and their colleagues from Poland and Moscow.
 
During the tours both operating objects and object under development were examined. Modern engineering and constructional solutions were of the main interest for our representatives. Today’s and tomorrow’s commercial property market doesn’t excuse dilettantish approach.  In view of that such tours will become a tradition and guarantee that Compass Development objects will meet all the up-to-date market requirements.

The underground high-pressure gas pipeline (diameter is 110 mm, project capacity is 3500 cum/hour) that is in possession of Berezova Roscha Ltd. was launched into operation by the State Commission. The pipe will supply the gated residential community with gas.

Compass Development got the Authorization for preliminary works fulfillment in the context of the office center development at 9 Knyaz’ Svyatoslav Sq. The Company started dismantling of present buildings, temporary relocation of the engineer networks and the engineer preparation of the territory. Agroindustrial Group Company, one of the leaders of industrial dismantling market in Ukraine, has won the  tender for these works implementation.

For supplying the gated residential community with electricity the contract between Berezova Roscha Ltd. and AES Ukraine for linking-up to the electric networks (direct of 2500 kilowatt and alternating of 500 kilowatt) was signed. Besides the technical conditions for connection and project statement were given.
